The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Quality Systems Specialist to join our team in Berkeley, MO. They will be supporting work for Boeing Test & Evaluation Air Dominance, Phantom Works, and Weapons Quality Teams in Berkeley. Their primary responsibility will be ensuring compliance of lab testing processes and procedures. The role requires conducting thorough evaluations to assess compliance with industry standards and internal quality requirements. Additionally, the Quality Systems Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead root cause corrective action investigations, identify and implement improvements, while maintaining documentation and providing clear communication.
Position Responsibilities:
Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation
Provides Quality interpretation of requirements
Develop quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements
Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities
Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs
Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness
Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances
Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions
Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances
Performs benchspaning and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved
Works under general direction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
3+ years of experience working in Quality and/or Supplier Quality
3+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
3+ years of experience using and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications
3+ years of experience in interacting with customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals
Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
Experience with quality management system related applications, statistical analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
3+ years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS)
1+ years of experience in statistical data analysis with statistical software
Experience applying audit standards, procedures, and techniques
Experience with process specification development

Summary Pay Range for Experienced Level (Level 3): $95,200 – $128,800
